Working with American Indian-owned Cardinal Point as a subcontractor or teaming partner can enable a prime contractor under a DoD contract with the applicable FAR clause to receive the 5% cash rebate payable under the Indian Incentive Program. Established in 1997, the congressionally sponsored DoD Indian Incentive Program is funded annually and is a catalyst for teaming and subcontracting by American Indian companies.​
